We’re going on a bear hunt.
Over 1,000 Jèrriais copies of Michael Rosen’s ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ will be given out for free in local schools to Reception classes.
Also known as Jersey French, Jèrriais is still spoken by some, but has been on the decline over the past century. The translated book aims to inject excitement about the language into younger generations.
Our Reception class had a visit it from one of the Jèrriais team who came in to school to read the story to them.
