We are delighted to announce that St Christopher’s will be taking part in the Go Wild Gorillas 2019 art event.
2019 is the 60th anniversary of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and to celebrate; brightly coloured, artist imagined, gorilla sculptures will be placed across the island and will lead people on a trail of discovery. The whole school will be involved in the design and creation of the young gorilla and this will then become part of the trail around the island for everyone to see.
To raise as much money as possible for this fantastic initiative, we will be holding some fun and unusual fundraising events. The first event being our ‘Go Bananas” day, which involves the children dressing up in animal onsies, enjoying frozen bananas at break time and plenty of banana themed games!
